Mine detection is most crucial during war and is an increasing concern because of the danger of buried landmines to people’s lives, economic growth and development.
This six-legged hexapod is easy to print, with no added support. Some parts of the hexapod require brims or rafts, which provide proper bed retention to avoid warping.
The 3D printed gamepad can access 60 different motions, including modes of walking, dancing, and fighting. We can use these motions for Markers, the classroom, or fun activities like magnetic accessory attachments surrounding the cap, decorations, nameplates, small sensors, etc.
An accessory port on the front of the robot allows you to attach optional accessories for games and combat styles, such as Joust, Capture-The-Flag, heavier sensors like an ultrasonic rangefinder and so more.
We provide it with a bunch of 3D printable accessories, and you can develop more yourself!
We went beyond the call of duty with Scratch. You can program new hexapod actions in Scratch and upload them to gamepad buttons!
You can have 60 custom actions, triggered by “long tapping” on the mode buttons. The short tapping executes the default actions again.
The hexapod requires two batteries similar to a fat AA battery, which costs around $3 each and can be recharged 1000 times! They are available on Amazon or other platforms.
The gamepad requires a standard 9v transistor battery.
